General » Back home after more than a decade overseas..
I wasn't overseas as long as you, but I've been "home" now (also Edmonton!) for about 15 months and there are still days I think about packing everything up and heading back to Russia. I've had an incredibly difficult time re-adjusting to everything here. Difficult to reconnect with friends and even family to a degree. I understand completely feeling "stuck." Even in my new job (which I DO enjoy) it just doesn't compare. I like to assume I'll go back one day, but I most often get hung up on the financial side: my salary in Russia was good for Russia but nowhere near enough for me to work toward retirement (still a long ways off) here.

Best wishes as you move forward here.

General » Online listening exercises for kids
Hi teachers:

The parents of two of my classes have asked that I send students home with additional listening exercises. I don't mind to do this, but I'm unsure where to look. My students are in the 10-13 age range and are pre-intermediate (More 2) and intermediate (More 3).

Any suggestions? They're not looking for just watching videos or listening to music online. They want EFL specific material so it's appropriately paced.

Many thanks in advance!
