How was the lifestyle there ? and how was your school teaching experience in PP?

Any options or contracts, as I only have a 2 year Diploma and TESOL certificate with no experience.

The Visa issue is no problem which is kind off a bonus, business visa for 25 bucks a month. easy!

I was wondering if there are any Global TESOL graduates in Cambodia, my 2 locations of interest are in Seim Reap or Phom Penh?

There must be some older grads on this board that have taught or are in Cambodia?

I am just looking for some general information?

Any teachers out there heard about any good or bad news about this School ... Maybe Zoie can provide some background. What I have heard so far :

1. small class sizes max people students
2. They are looking to keep teachers rather than cycle thru
them if they do not conform.
3. Pay is reasonable for Taiwan.

Any comments would be helpfull wrt the school or Taiwan.

Hello all,

I am a recent graduate of Global TESOL College. I am one of those without a degree and have a 2-year Diploma. I am currently looking for a one year contract in SEA ( south east Asia) and have been reading/researching info on ESL teaching for the pasted 3 weeks. I came onto this posting about one teachers experience in Japan.. I found it wonderfull as it is a very honest opinion. It gave me a good foundation of the ESL Teaching Business.

A really good read ... love to hear comments about this articale.

Good Question.. I finished my course in May and have been looking pretty hard for a one year contract. Don't get too worried yet...... To help answer your question here is my list of some countries that I have found that need a B.A.
South Korea, Japan, Thailand(?). I haven't yet contacted the consulate for the all countries I am interested in. I am looking towards the southeast Asia area.. China should be accepting a 2 year Diploma with no problems..

it would be nice if our school would post it somewhere, but it should be in the employment handbook somewhere.
