General » No degree = no Korea?
Hi Holly, (and everyone else)!
The Korean consulate says an employer may apply for an issuance # for you to apply to your Visa application. I am still waiting for clarification as to whether this issuance # will "stand in" for that BA/uni degree.

As always, I would be greatful if anyone with experience with this subject could provide insight or their information.

With thanks!
R.
General » No degree = no Korea?
Hi All,
I am interested in working in Asia, with my sights on Korea in particular. I have visited the Consulate website and it says you need a BA to obtain the appropriate Visa (E2, I think). At the risk of asking a silly question, is this stipulation written in stone? If I have a job offer, will the "degree stipulation" be waived? Is there anyone right now with an E2 Visa and working in Korea who does NOT have a BA?
Thanks in advance for your response!
Rachel
