General » China: Best places. . . worst?
Hey Gerald, yes I am quite pleased with New Jordan. A few teachers that have worked for New Jordan had unpleasant experiences, but their have been new hires in upper management and so it's much better now. You can email me if you like.

Hey, I just started working here in Wuhan CHina, and although it was a huge shock at first, It's not so bad. I've heard it's pretty similar all over china. No matter where you go, you're going to feel the culture shock. We are very spoiled in Canada with regards to cleanliness etc, due mainly to the fact that for such a large country, our population is relatively small.
I would recomend buying a mask if you're going into the big cities and want to avoid being affected by the smog, it's not so bad here in Wuhan though.

I hadn't had a problem. I started looking in September and found a job here in China. They're desperate for Foreign teachers here in Asia.

Jeanne, Laura,

I highly recommend Dave's ESL Cafe, it made looking for a job in China so much easier! Simply post your cover letter...or resume on that site, stating your experience and you will be amazed at how many replies you recieve from the many different schools seeking english teachers.

Can any one tell me, what exactly is cv?
General » No Degree Required?
Thankyou Kevan for your response! I found it to be very helpful. Its good to know that I can apply to a position regardless of whether or not it states "degree required". I found your response to be very helpful!! Thankyou!!! :)

Wow! I am a bit taken aback at Stacey's response also. Apparently it is unacceptable to ask a simple question...but isn't that what this site is for!
