I'm currently working as a counsellor and ESL teacher at a summer camp in Lakefield ON, located near Peterborough. One of our ESL teachers has just backed out at the last minute, and the director has asked us to contact anyone who may be interested. The job is definately long hours, about 4-hours of ESL teaching per day, and as a counsellor, we live with campers and are available 24-hours. Lakefield Camp is an OCA camp and is part of CISS, with international students from South America, Europe, and elsewhere. All staff get one period off per day (out of five) and one day off per week. The job would begin as soon as possible and go 4-6 weeks. Pay ranges from about $2000-3500.
