paying off debts overseas

Wondering how TESOL teachers overseas have paid their debts to their current Canadian banks when using a foreign bank. I assume regular payments have been made to credit cards, loans, etc. Are there any tips or procedures that work? I ask this initially before consulting with current teachers in the schools I am applying to. Thanks!
I have found my answer and wanted to share. It looks to be that the easiest way is to do a money wire transfer to your home bank and then you are able to still make your payments via on-line banking (that you have established with your home bank) to your credit cards, lines of credit and of course, your money will be there for your loan and other payments that have automatically been withdrawing from your chequing/savings account.

I'm off to Japan! Got my certificate in 2009 and 3 years later I'm finally using my training to start a new life and attaining my dream to work and travel overseas as a lifestyle. I'm so happy!
