HI

Am I to understand that there is an upper age limit to being able to have a work visa granted to me by the Chinese Government?

Or is it more of a requirement by the Agency that may be hiring me to teach.

I am 54 years old.

Thanks in andvance for any info.

Harry
Hi there Harry ! hey it's good to find another person with the same problems as I have` sometimes! I have had my TESOL ticket for about 6 months and have had nearly a full gambut of problems a newbie can have.I am 53 years young (still 52 but my birthday's in January). There are not any restrictions regarding age for visas I have experianced so far except I heard from a recruiter there that the Chinese government may not be granting visas to anyone with under 2 years experiance, still nothing concrete has come of it.If you want to talk more gime me an e-mail at Mike9998_nz@yahoo.com
The age limit also has to do with the school hiring. If the school really wants you, then some have their ways to coerce the government. I don't think you will have a problem if you already have some teaching experience.
