Hi Nicole you have the following options

OPTION #1 [Recommended]: Read the manual and use the assignments only to prepare for the Online Final Exam. This option requires that students take only the Final Exam for any course, and do not submit assignments.
OPTION #2: Read the manual and complete all of the required assignments (as explained in the manual). Assignments are either emailed to nz@globaltesol.nz.co or sent by post to:
New Zealand Teacher Training Ltd.
PO Box 57018 Mana, Porirua, Wellington

all the best
Hi, I am in Dunedin, New Zealand and doing the online course as well. I am also fortunate to be able to observe the teacher Michael Moxham at English Advantage, the language school in Dunedin where they hold the Global TESOL in-class course. I sit in on some of his classes to help me see the teaching methods in practice. It is really helpful, and he is a marvellous teacher. Hope it is all going well with you. Have you done your online exam yet? Cheers
Always good to hear from another person in the same boat! Yes ive done my online exam, now onto my specilizations :) So much information i think my brain is on overload! What about you?
Hi Nicole, I am only up to unit 12 so far, so have a wee while to go before i tackle the exam. Can you give me any good hints on how to prepare for the exam. How did you prepare?
Good luck with your specialisation. Cheers.
Hey guys!

I too have completed my online exam for the foundation course - now doing Tourism English because i'm tutoring a Japanese girl who works with hotels!! :)

To prepare for the exam I would recommend having a good set of notes you have made from each module for reference. Also, make sure you understand the whole concept of each different theory/idea presented because, although the exam is multiple-choice and true/false, some of the questions are very specific.

Do not worry about it being timed, you will finish the exam in well under 90 minutes.

It's great to see kiwis using this forum eh or what?! Good luck to the both of you..
