Shelly 2011-02-02	Hi, I'm moving to Shanghai in days. I'm looking to rent an apartment on my own. I was wondering if anyone out there has lived in Shanghai and can offer any advice? Is it hard to find a place to live on your own and how much does it cost to rent an apartment (one bdrm or bachelor)? Thanks!!! :)

Carrie 2011-02-02	Hi Shelly, I don't have any advice to offer you about apartments, sadly. However, I'm also moving to Shanghai (in 2-3 weeks). I also took the course with Jim in Toronto (just finished)! Maybe we should meet up and be English-speaking friends in Shanghai? This is a huge adventure for me - I've travelled but never lived anywhere overseas! Are you working for the public school system?

I took the course in October, VERY empowering! This is also going to be a huge adventure for me. I've lived overseas before, in Australia. Am really excited as I leave on Monday! And yes, I am working for the public school system.
