hello, i have my english bacherlors degree and tesol but i lost my diploma, just a question to those of you who have
got a job in china preferably in hainan, when you arrive there do you need the actual diploma and tesol cert on hand or whats the protocol on that?

thanks for your help!
In the future always scan your documents an email them to yourself. Stating this when you need an immediate copy you will always have one.

To confirm your work permit, proof of your TESOL certification may be required by the school.

Please contact the head office by phone at +1-780-438-5704 or 1-800-270-2941, or email: academic@globaltesol.com.

An Academic Advisor will be able to assist you.

To get a legal work visa in China you need original copies, not scans and they will be sent in with the visa application. Makes me nervous as hell to turn over my papers, but its part of the deal.
Also, just a side note, may want to hold off on Hainan for the moment. It is pretty much a disaster area due to typhoons and flooding. hundreds of thousands evacuated and life still not restored....

Great place, been there before, but they are still cleaning up and that may affect schools and contracts... best to check in advance.
