Emailing documents?

Is it safe to email copies of our passport, via email?

Hi Valery. I think emailing your passport (a scan) is OK. The only reason an employer wants to see it (I assume) is to confirm that you are eligible to work at the school (i.e. you actually are a citizen of the country you live in and are entitled to leave the country for work overseas).
