Teaching English as a Foreign Language you should have a TESOL course that will show you how to teach your tactics for educating non-native English speakers. Such classes are usually a month or two long, and can even be completed online.
The Visa. You will probably be told at the Ecuadorian embassy that a work visa is required for teaching English and this can only be obtained with a work contract sent to you from Ecuador before leaving. The 90-day visitor’s visa is more than adequate until you can get a work visa and it’s free. A three-month extension costs $2.
Requirements and Pay. Few institutes require any teaching qualifications, but some give priority to TEFL or TESL (or other) certificate holders and pay these teachers a little more. (except for Academia Cotopaxi) require either teaching qualifications and/or experience. The only institute that does not hire inexperienced applicants is the British Council, which requires two years of teaching experience. A few other institutes, such as the Experiment and Lingua Franca, pay qualified teachers more than their non-qualified ones. For those without teaching qualifications, knowledge of English is usually assessed with a grammar test.

The average hourly wage is 15,000 sucres ($3). This is good by Ecuadorian standards--a cook, waiter, or cleaning person earns 50 cents per hour. However, qualified teachers can find jobs paying between 25,000 and 50,000 sucres ($5-$10). Some institutions deduct 8 percent in taxes, as required by Ecuadorian law.
Length of Employment. The minimum commitment an institute will ask for is six weeks; the average is a few months, or even a year in the case of colegios. The school year is from October to July in Quito, and from March to November on the coast. Most foreigners prefer to teach in an institute, where they’re not required to sign a contract.
Business English teachers are in the highest demand but there are also various positions available teaching university students. The majority of teaching positions are found in Quito but determined teachers should be able to find work in other locations as well.
I hope this will help someone find a job this is a link to hundreds of jobs

Teaching English abroad can be one of the most rewarding experiences a person will ever have. TESOL is one of the best, and one of the most recognized language certificate or diploma's you could have included in your resume, It has been predicted that by the year 2030, more than half the population of the world will speak English.
Teaching English overseas brings with it many rewards, not the least of which is the satisfaction of making a difference in the lives of students. Having the ability to explore new cultures and surroundings while earning an income and teaching experience is one reason that many teachers opt to find placement in positions overseas. Even some first time TESOL grad's will opt to find placement in positions overseas as a volunteer teacher just to get experience.

English Teacher Ages

It is not always easy and depends to a large extent on the maturity, experience and self confidence of the teacher. Many schools are very wary of employing any native English speaking teachers under the age of 20. This is primarily due to previous bad experience with many schools. Experience tells us that young teachers are more likely to get homesick, feel overwhelmed by the new culture or miss the familiarity of home and their mothers. If a teacher arrives and then decides to go home again soon after starting this can cause a loss of face for the school and for us, and ends up costing everyone involved valuable time, money and resources. As well, local authorities are notified and invariably ask questions of the school management like "why did you employ someone so young and clearly (in hindsight) not able to handle themselves?". This can quickly escalate for our school partners as not all schools and colleges are allowed to employ foreign experts and those that do have usually had to work hard for the privilege and don't want to lose it. If the 'privilege' of employing foreign experts is deemed to have been abused, it can quickly be reversed by the government's which is a tragedy for the school and could signal the end of often years of hard work.
Congratulations to all the graduates of the past year and in the coming years ahead, we are in great demand in other parts of the world to teach the basics of English language.
I know that all the graduates are very much excited to get their feet wet in the field of teaching, I’m very sure also that the parents are overwhelmed and happy witnessing their child’s achievements. Students achievement is also a teachers achievements, in showing their appreciation to the teacher who has help in making a dream come through in their lives. It can be very exciting to teach English, It is an opportunity to help fulfill dreams and forge career paths, Your teaching will help to challenge and mold minds. Yet teaching English takes much more than just talking to students who are willing to listen. You will have to use strategies to foster an atmosphere of learning when you teach English language's, Teaching strategies which foster curiosity in students encourages their disposition in learning
Conversational English.
When students are intrigued by a new idea or situation and they are compelled to discover new information, then their curiosity is piqued. These teaching strategies will meet the needs of all students within a class sitting.
That's were Global T.E.S.O.L gives each teacher the ability to have foresight, and be equipped for the job ahead, so let the teaching begin, best of luck

Working in China and other areas of Asia can be fun and culturally rewarding but don’t pay very much money. pay range in area from 3000 RMB to 12000 RMB depends in what area you teach, You can make enough to live but can’t really save. Working in Europe is not as lucrative as working in Asia, and because of the European Union, it’s also hard to obtain a working visa if you don’t have an EU passport.
