Italy Course

Hello there,

I am really new to this and have not gone anywhere yet since graduating. I would really love to go to Italy and heard they do summer contracts there. I don't know how to go about finding information on this or even where to start.

If anyone could help or give me advice about this I would really appreciate it. I have looked in the job bank but did not see anything there.

Hi Meaghan! I haven't graduated yet but I have my sights set on Italy as well. Based on the research I've done, it's fairly easy to find job postings doing a simple search however sponsorship of your Visa may inhibit you from finding the ideal opportunity quickly. I am fortunate enough to have been born to an Italian citizen so I'll be able to circumvent this issue easily but myy advice to you would be to do a little research everyday to see whats out there and reach out and make as many connections as possible to seek opportunity, advice, suggestions, etc. from people there currently working in ESL education. My understanding is that many schools prefer to meet you in person prior to hiring but I'm still trying to figure it myself...

I may just be stating the obvious here but I hope it helps and I wish you much luck!

I dont even know where to start. I would really love to do this but I'm so lost.
I thought that teaching English anywhere in the EU pretty much required at least a BA at the minimum??
